Mike Meyers Workshop

We’re thrilled to welcome the legendary sign painter Mike Meyers back to our studio for a three-day hand lettering workshop, happening April 24–26, 2025.

This workshop is designed for beginner to intermediate levels and covers:

Day 1: Introduction to lettering—explore block, thick & thin letterforms, learn about paint, brushes, and practice essential brushwork.

Day 2: Time to go freestyle! Mike will guide you through casual and script lettering, focusing on brush control and pressure to refine your strokes.

Day 3: Elevate your skills with lettering effects—shadows, bevels, and an introduction to color. Learn how to add depth and dimension to your designs.

Mike will provide brushes for use and a lettering booklet to keep. Additional brushes and books will be available for purchase.

Expect plenty of hands-on learning, creative inspiration, and great stories along the way.
