LPG: Letizia Battaglia

Whilst we were in London for the day, we couldn’t miss the chance to visit one of our favourite places to get inspired: The Photographers’ Gallery in Soho.

Across the five storeys filled with stunning photography exhibitions, Letizia Battaglia: Life, Love, and Death in Sicily was undoubtedly our favourite. Letizia’s gritty and incredibly powerful photographic documentation of Mafia-shadowed Sicily is juxtaposed with images of the rich and wealthy. Despite her photographing at the forefront of the deadliest violence Sicily has ever seen, every image remains a truly beautiful work of art.

We left feeling extremely enthused to keep going places and capturing life through the lens.
